A Reverse Osmosis
A reverse osmosis submersible pump is put in place when you need to increase water pressure going into the reverse osmosis (RO) filter unit to separate pure water from impurities. In a reverse osmosis system you will be forcing water through a membrane at high pressure. In an industrial application you may mount the pump to a skid along with the RO filter units, as seen above, or you may want to mount the pump vertically depending on your space and situation.
Things to consider when looking for a reverse osmosis submersible pump include the amount of water that can be moved per minute, which is measured in gallons per minute (GPM), along with physical dimensions, sound requirements, and cooling requirements.
Processes involving manufacturing, medical industries, food and drink processing, and other industrial applications use large quantities of water, which end up containing impurities from the process. Chemicals and debris need to be cleaned in order to safely dispose of the water. An industrial reverse osmosis system is an efficient way of cleaning large quantities of water, and the pump you choose is integral in ensuring your system works properly.
